Who Qualifies for Medical Cannabis in West Virginia?

Patients must be:

• At least 18 years old OR a minor with an adult caregiver.
• A legal resident of West Virginia with proof of residency.
• Have a valid photo ID

If you meet these qualifications, you can then meet with a registered physician. Patients should be prepared to discuss their condition and medical history. There are 15 qualifying medical conditions that are authorized for medical cannabis use in West Virginia. Both the physician recommendation and medical marijuana card must be renewed annually.
